The very name of the country Georgia says it all – beautiful nature, hospitality, delicious food and great wine. Georgia, a country at the junction of Europe and Asia, where you can find mountain villages of the Caucasus, ancient churches, monasteries, monuments, architecture and beaches of the Black Sea. The colorful capital of Tbilisi is known for its varied architecture and its old town.

We will see and feel the Georgian vibe with us on our road trip through Georgia.

For those who are looking for an active vacation, we will have as always a lot of activities, explore natural beauties, castles, mountains, canyons, waterfalls, beach time and lots of pictures.

FAQ

Can I exchange Rubbles?

Yes.

Due to the fact that Visa, MasterCard and MIR cards issued by Russian banks do not work in Georgia, it is recommended to bring ONLY cash rubles/dollars. They can be exchanged at currency exchange offices. They say it is more profitable to exchange rubles to GEL at once than to buy dollars/euros to exchange, or again #GOLDENCOURON rules if you have a Tinkoff card.

SO WE TAKE RUBLES IN CASH.

Can I pay with Mir card in Georgia

No

How can I travel to Georgia

Russia stopped air travel with Georgia back on July 8, 2019.
The cheapest combined route is via Vladikavkaz. Planes from Moscow fly roundtrip at a price of 6,000 rubles, while Vladikavkaz-Tbilisi buses will cost an average of 3,000 ₽. The route via Gyumri (Armenia) competes with it. A plane will cost at least 9,000 rubles, the train from 2,000 (but it runs every other day), and shuttles and buses from 4,000 in both directions.

If you have a RESIDENT card, get it all the way to Vladikavkaz)) + it’s possible to find subsidized tickets.

is Visa required for Georgia?

No, visa is not required for Russian citizens up to 365 days.
You only need your passport.

Are there travel restrictions?

It is allow to enter Georgia only with a negative PCR test done 72 hours before arrival in Georgia.

If you have been vaccinated, you do not need a PCR test.

*The document must be in Georgian, English or Russian.
*Citizens under the age of 10 are exempt from the obligation to show medical documents.
